About the index
The Solactive Lumenary Global Founders Index is the broadest expression of Lumenary’s research. It tracks the companies identified founder-led by the Lumenary classification across every capitalisation band: approximately 4,500 companies in 46 countries, drawn from a screened universe of approximately 14,700 listed stocks.
Eligibility rests on the founder-led classification, which assesses founder and family influence on ownership, governance and leadership company by company and is refreshed annually. Because the index spans all capitalisations, it reflects founder influence wherever it persists, not only among the largest listed companies.
The index is calculated and administered by Solactive AG, the independent index administrator. It is available for benchmarking, product issuance and mandates under a Lumenary licence.
